First site access!

We took an extra day off to extend the Australia Day long weekend and hoped to catch some action occurring down at the development site. The gates were open so we rode our mountain bikes up the main road to our lot.


This is the entrance road and roundabout.



Here is Brad standing adjacent to our land looking down the main road towards the entrance gate.


And here is our block! The lot marker pegs have been removed while they dig in services, drainage etc however, our block runs from the Cumberland Forest you can see to about where I was standing to take the picture. The dirt you can see on the right hand side will be golf course. Our land is about 16m across, 45-50m deep.


The soil looks primarily to be clay based - so I'm sure we'll need to upgrade our slab from M class (standard builder package) to H class. Hopefully things keep progressing at a good pace!
