We've trawled through websites and display homes - so far this home has the best layout to suit us - the Impression 38 Mk II from Wisdom Homes.
It's very similar to the Entertainer 39 from Eden Brae (NSW) and Porter Davis (Vic). Strangely enough - the plan you see on the Eden Brae site is not the display home they've built.
The display home is actually the plan shown here. And the Entertainer is not on PD's website either.
Anyway - back to the issue at hand - the design that suits us best is the one in the picture. We would be building the mirror image though to suit our views.

Our views will be golf course down the left hand side of the course. To take advantage of this, on the upper floor we will be adding a balcony across the Upper Lounge and Bedroom 2. We'll also be adding a bath to the Master Ensuite.
We also need somewhere to store our golf buggy - there are a few options for this - extend the house 1.5m in the garage, or build a nice looking storage shed out the back. If we were to extend the house - the builder would basically make a cut across the garage, entry and study on the ground floor and extend it all by 1.5m. This would be mirrored upstairs in the Master suite and walk-in-robe.
Besides those things - the house is perfect for our lifestyle - nice large living areas and room for a 10-12 seater dining table (both hubby and I have big families).

Hi Amanda - Really the like the layout of your new home. Sounds like you'll be living in a great place! I've not heard of too many people that have to worry about where to park the golf cart! Excellent!
