No contracts in May

Email from "M" today - contracts will not be issued in May. Hmmm - more delays - why are we NOT suprised!

Every month there's a delay - we save more money for the house. But every delay means that the probablility of being in our new home for Xmas 08 diminishes exponentially :(

Also - according to "R" our builder won't submit our plans to council until title has been registered (which happens before settlement of the contract). This it to make sure that the developer doesn't change anything that would affect how Council reviews our application. Makes sense - but is frustrating when it comes to getting into our home ASAP.

According to Eckhart Tolle - life gives you the experience that is most beneficial to you at that point in time - perhaps life is telling me that patience is a virtue worth mastering :)
