We love Michelle!

We drove down to see Michelle from Denovo Concepts today to work out our external colours. I was even having dreams about our colours not working! Our design guidelines require roofs in a shade of grey and driveways must be charcoal coloured concrete or stencil patterned. This means that a lot of warm yellow colours would look out of place - which was stressing me out! However, once we sat down with her and the colour fan deck - it was surprisingly easy!

Our roof colour is Windspray:

It's a grey - but with a slight green tinge. We'll also use Windspray for our gutters, fascia and eaves.

The portico will be painted as a feature - in Capsicum Red:

And our walls will be in Wistow - a green based grey

(which looks sort of dark here - but in the sunlight goes a fair bit lighter)

Windows will all be in Pearl White:


Plus we'll have our sandstone feature for warmth with wooden garage door and front door (if bushfire regulations allow and it doesn't cost us the earth!).

Hopefully R will receive our contours next week and we can have our tender appointment.
