We love sandstone!

Our home theatre projection on our side facade needs to be a feature of the house. So to make it a feature - we looked into sandstone cladding. A lot of people use stacked stone for their features - but we wanted to be different.


Over the weekend we checked out Unreal Stone - and fell in love with the product! This is it in the smooth finish - which is most often used in modern houses like ours will be.


It's not cheap (about $150 sqm installed) but will look fantastic. It can be put straight on to brick or even blueboard. So hopefully the cost won't be too exhorbitant once you take out the saving you make by not needing to render or Moroka that area.


To carry the same theme on the front of the facade, we are also thinking of getting the garage clad in the same material as well.
