We had great news from Wisdom Homes today - our plans and external colours went to the developer (Urban Pacific/Medallist) for approval late Wednesday. A few weeks ago the Project Director had a casual flick through our plans and said they look ok and wouldn't need any changes.
I have no idea how long the process will take - hopefully only 1-2 weeks as we want to get our Development Application lodged to Council before Friday 12 December. We've been given verbal indications from Council that if we can get our DA in before then - we should have a determination by mid-January 09. Then we'll need a few weeks to get our Construction Certificate (via private certifier) and then begin.
This should fit nicely with a surprise piece of news today - titles are expected to be official registered with the Land Titles office in January and we should officially own our land in Feb - woohoo!
I have a funny feeling that everything is starting to fall into place :)
