Flyscreens measured

Due to our close proximity to the Cumberland Forest nature reserve at the rear of our property - we're in a Level 3 bushfire area. The Council and Government sets particular building standards to provide some modicum of protection from bushfires. These additional protective elements include:

• fire retardent timber for the eaves
• weep hole spark arrestors
• stainless steel flyscreens on all windows and the sliding doors to the outdoor leisure area
• weather seals on all windows and doors
• wall wrapping behind the brickwork
• leaf guard on gutters
• toughened glass for all windows
• solid core front door

This morning we dropped by the house to see if the tilers were at work (unfortunately not) - however we did meet the gent measuring for flyscreens. It's the 2nd last part of the bushfire requirements to be completed - the last being the weather sealing.
