Driveway and painting

I met Joe and his crew Raf and Mick on site this morning to watch the driveway pour. They'd set the form work up the week prior.





I'm completely amazed how lumpy wet concrete eventually smooths out! It's all in the technique (I'm sure I couldn't do it!)

I had to leave for work before they finished - can't wait to see what it looks like on the weekend.

On a side note - I think all of the walls and window frames have been painted. A painter was there this morning doing floor skirting boards.

So still outstanding:

• main floor tiles
• air con control panels
• door handles and stoppers
• carpet
• internal clean

I think we're getting very close!
