PCI today!

I'm off in a little while to our Practical Completion Inspection :) I have a 43 page checklist (it's not really as bad as it sounds) to go through and thanks to the lovely members at Homeone, a whole lot of hints and tips.

So here are my collated PCI tips

1. Have a checklist for each room - windows, doors, skirting boards, architraves, power points, light points etc
2. Bring a step ladder and a few light bulbs
3. Measuring tape and spirit level
4. Bring something to check that the power points are working - e.g. hairdryer
5. A copy of your building plans, electrical plan to mark things off
6. Contract and any post-contract variations
7. A chux cloth and rag in case you need to wipe something down to see if it's scratched
8. Flyspray (I've looked through the windows and seen heaps of flies inside! Don't want to splat them again our lovely new walls)

Fingers crossed there aren't too many things that need fixing!
